Hi there! My name is Brandy Wheatley, Owner and Lead Planner of Blue Chalk Events. I am a Certified Wedding Planner, through The Bridal Society, the nation's leading wedding planning certification program. Blue Chalk Events was established in 2019 with a belief that every season of life should be celebrated! I have a true passion for planning, helping others, and attending to all the details.
I am a wife of 22 years, we met on a blind date and have pretty much been together ever since! I am a twice blessed boy mom (the BLUE behind my company name) to two amazing young men who continue to inspire me everyday!
I am an avid reader, lover of travel, a fan of a great concert, a glass of dry wine and my favorite cocktail is currently a French 75! I am also a huge coffee lover (well maybe I am more of a flavored creamer lover- current obsession is with oat milk lattes!) Nonetheless, I would love to share a cup or two with you and get to know you and your personal, unique style!
My favorite part of wedding day is watching our couple recess back down the aisle, the energy and love is so heartwarming!

Hi there, my name is Hannah Dodd, born and raised in Edmond, Oklahoma! I am Lead Planner for Blue Chalk Events! Like Brandy, I too am a Certified Wedding Planner through The Bridal Society. Married to my amazing husband Austin and mom to a precious daughter, Sutton, I am also dog mom to 3 rescues! I love coffee, a good club special and trying new restaurants!
I've been in the wedding industry since I was in high school, first working at a bridal boutique, which lead to my love for planning and all the details. I started wedding planning in 2018 and love educating couples through the joy of this season and helping them bring to life the perfect day just for them! I joined BCE in the spring of 2022!
I am an enneagram type 2, type A organized planner, that loves to have fun while guiding couples through this exciting journey.
My favorite part of wedding day is seeing the reaction from our couples as they see everything come together! Another perk of the job is witnessing the love between two people as they come together as one during their ceremony! It truly moves me each and every time!
